What to Wear

What should I wear to Pilates?
Wear fitted, comfortable clothing you can move in. Avoid loose tops, belts, or anything bulky that gets in the way of movement or alignment.
Do I need grip socks?
Yes. Grip socks are required for all sessions. If you forget them, we have them available at the studio.

Beginners

I’m new to Pilates. Where should I start?
Most new clients start with an intro offer, a private lesson, or a beginner-friendly small group option. If you are unsure, start here:

What if I’m coming back from an injury or finishing physical therapy?
A private lesson is usually the best place to start. It gives us the most room to understand your body, your history, and what kind of progression makes sense for you.
Do New Client 3-Packs expire?
Yes. New Client 3-Packs are designed to be used consistently and must be completed within 30 days of purchase.
What’s the difference between Private Lessons and Small Group Classes?

Private Lessons (1:1)
Fully tailored sessions built around your body, history, goals, and current level.

Small Group Classes (up to 5:1)
Small-group Classical Pilates with plenty of attention, more shared energy, and a lower price point than private lessons.

Class Levels

How do your class levels work?
Our classes follow a structured, leveled system based on your understanding of the work, control, and consistency. If you are not sure where to start, we’ll guide you.
How do I level up?
Progression is based on how well you understand the work, how consistently you practice, and how much control you bring to class. If you are ready for the next level, your instructor will let you know.

Teacher Training & Careers

Do you offer Pilates teacher training?

We do not host a teacher training program at Breakthrough Pilates.

We work closely with the Romana’s Pilates International training program and are happy to refer you to them if you’re interested in pursuing certification.
