What You’ll Gain

Confidence Teaching Real People
Work with different bodies, limitations, goals, personalities, and levels of readiness.
A Stronger Teaching Eye
Learn to observe, assess, adjust, and make better decisions in the moment.
Clearer Cueing & Communication
Communicate the work with more clarity, purpose, and authority.
Real-World Career Skills
Learn how to get clients, maintain clients, and build a teaching career.
Why Classical Pilates?
Classical Pilates is more than a collection of exercises. It is a system with more than 100 years of history behind it.
The exercises build on one another. The apparatus supports the method. The progression gives teachers a framework for decision-making instead of leaving them to guess what comes next.
For teachers, that system creates clarity. You learn not just what to teach, but why you are teaching it.
Why Breakthrough Pilates?
Led by David MinicucciMentorship is led by David Minicucci, a Romana’s Pilates International trained teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist, NASM Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Senior Fitness Specialist.
David has been teaching since 2010 and has worked with clients navigating neurological conditions, post-rehabilitation needs, chronic pain, and complex bodies that do not always follow the textbook.
This mentorship is built around real-world learning: how to teach, how to problem-solve, how to build trust, how to retain clients, and how to develop a career in Pilates.
How It Works
Mentorship is practical, personal, and studio-based. You will be expected to show up, practice, observe, ask questions, and grow.

Ongoing guidance around teaching, cueing, anatomy, progression, and client scenarios.
Observation & Practice
Observe, practice, and develop your understanding inside a working studio.
Teaching Development
As readiness develops, teaching opportunities may become part of the mentorship.
Client & Career Skills
Learn how to get clients, retain clients, and grow as a professional.
